Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leading provider in personalized rehabilitation therapy across healthcare facilities, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team of experts. This role requires an individual passionate about delivering tailored physical therapy services and improving patient care and outcomes. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work alongside our skilled therapists in various settings, contributing to our commitment to comprehensive, patient-focused care. Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care to reduce pain and improve mobility. Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient therapy sessions. Execute specific parts of a physical treatment plan as instructed by the therapist, such as massages, stretches, and therapeutic exercises. Document patient responses and progress, and report back to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care and routines. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential and following privacy policies. Ensure operation of physical therapy equipment by following operating instructions and reporting malfunctions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications Experience with physical therapy techniques and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Detail-oriented and able to accurately document treatment sessions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant CPR/BLS certification
