on census) Shift: Nights, Every Other Week (EOW) Hours: 36 hours
per week Job Summary We are urgently seeking experienced Registered
Nurses to join our ICU team at facility. This role involves
providing high-acuity care in the ICU, with the possibility of
floating to the PCU depending on patient census and unit needs. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills,
adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient
care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU,
including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and
managing complex medical equipment. - Assess patient conditions,
develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
ensure optimal outcomes. - Provide support and education to
patients and families. - Float to PCU as needed to maintain
staffing levels and patient care standards. - Maintain accurate
documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Education: Associate's or
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). - Experience: Minimum
of 3 years of recent PCU/ICU RN experience required. Must have
demonstrated proficiency in both ICU and PCU settings. - Licenses
and Certifications: - Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse). -
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. - Current
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the American Heart
Association. - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
certification. - Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication,
and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in electronic health records
(EHR) systems is a plus. - Physical Requirements: Ability to stand
for extended periods, lift patients, and respond to emergencies.
Additional Information: - Schedule Details: 36 hours of night
shifts every other week (EOW). Flexibility to float to PCU if
census changes. - Experience Requirement: Must have PCU and ICU
