Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck
Surgery is seeking a Comprehensive Otolaryngologist to join our
growing faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in
otology and must possess a strong commitment to resident education,
clinical medicine, and research, as the role carries an academic
appointment to the School of Medicine. The candidates must also be
able to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania and be board certified or eligible through the
American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. Our
esteemed faculty spans the entire depth and breadth of the field to
include head and neck surgery, laryngology, otology, skull base
surgery, rhinology, allergy, sleep medicine, and facial plastics &
reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cecelia Schmalbach, Professor and
Chair, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, will be
attending the AAO-HNSF 2025 Annual Meeting & OTO Expo from October

Qualifications • MD, DO, or international medical graduate
equivalent • Successful completion of residency in Otolaryngology
from an ACGME-accredited program prior to the start date • Board
certification or eligibility through the American Board of
Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery • Ability to obtain an
unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
