About The Position We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This position begins on Dec 1, 2025, with a 30-day contract and involves scheduled clinic hours plus call. The ideal candidate will provide cardiac thoracic services at a community hospital and clinic, utilizing efficient surgical skills in CVOR and vascular surgery. Job Details - Location: Pennsylvania - Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 - LOA: 30 days - Provider Type Needed: Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Schedule: Scheduled clinic hours plus call; call ratio 1:2, 25 percent call back, 30-minute response time via beeper Responsibilities and Duties - Deliver comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services to hospital and clinic patients - Perform CVOR and vascular surgery procedures with proficiency - Independently conduct endoscopic and vessel harvesting, including radial - Participate in call coverage as scheduled, ensuring timely response according to requirements Additional Information - PA medical license required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Fellowship preferred Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
