Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 11 weeks - 37 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic Department: Radiology Diagnostic Location: Bronx, NY 10461 Schedule: 8am -5pm (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day) Start Date: 07/21/2025 Pay rate: $58.00 - $61.00 per hour on W2 Job Summary: we are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic to support our interventional radiology team. The technologist will assist radiologists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities. Responsibilities include operating angiographic equipment, administering contrast materials, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, including balloon angioplasty and stent placement. Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment used in interventional radiology procedures. Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician. Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data. Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and infection control standards. Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures. Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend shifts as scheduled. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in interventional radiology, including use of angiographic equipment and techniques such as balloon angioplasty and stenting. Education Requirements: Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Licensure & Certification Requirements: Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) (can be obtained post-offer). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
