Registered Nurses will provide on site coverage of a 12-bed adolescent PRTF and a small 4-6 bed young adult RTFA. The Nurse is responsible for oversight and provision of medication administration and medication monitoring; oversight and coordination of physical health of residents; provision of metabolic screenings; vitals; restraint oversight and following assessments and collaboration with RTF team including psychiatrist.Qualifications
  • Successful completion of RN program and active PA RN license in good standing.
  • Experience in behavioral health care
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Own an insured vehicle for personal use
  • COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine requiredSpecific Duties
    • Be knowledgeable and comply with DPW's 55 PA Code Chapter 3800 (Child Residential and Day Treatment Facilities Regulations) and OMHSAS's memo date November 1995: Requirements for Residential Treatment Facilities for Adults.
    • Be knowledgeable and comply with CARF, CBH, PRTF and DHS requirements/regulations.
    • Provide and ensure all aspects of Medication Administration and Medication Monitoring, to include trainings, coordination with pharmacy and collaboration with RTF psychiatrist are completed in a timely, comprehensive manner.
