Job Description:
Job Summary St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is
recruiting afull time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team. As part
of a multi-disciplinary and clinically integrated team you will
provide care to the patients within our affiliatedLevel III NICU
and Academic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. What you can
expect:
- Work in a Level III 26 bed NICU, average daily census of 18
babies
- Approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions.
Caring for babies as young as 23 weeks gestation
- 2 Neonatologists and 1 Physician Assistant day shift, 1
Neonatologist and 1 Physician Assistant night shift, NICU certified
RNs, Social Workers, Nutritionists and tenured support staff.
- 24/7 Neonatal Physician Assistants in NICU to provide
support
- Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians.
- The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement
work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network.
- This strong team-based approach focuses on providing the
highest level of quality care and delivers excellent health
outcomes that exceed the national average for critically ill
newborns each year.

Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship program

- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth
