This is a permanent position, providing a unique opportunity to play a critical role in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) of our late stage clinical trials department. Responsibilities:As an FP&A Manager for Clinical Trials, you will:1. Lead the financial planning and analysis for clinical trials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.2. Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making related to clinical trials.3. Collaborate with clinical teams to understand trial design, patient recruitment, and other key drivers of clinical trial costs.4. Analyze clinical trial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.5. Participate in the development and execution of financial strategies for late-stage clinical trials.6. Provide financial expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.7. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.8. Use data visualization tools such as pivot tables to present complex financial data in an understandable manner.9. Work with various software systems including Sage and VENA for data management and analysis.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position will have:1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the biotech or pharma industry.3. Prior experience in clinical forecasting and budgeting for clinical trials.4. Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and late-stage developments.5. Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.6. Experience with data management tools such as Sage or VENA.7. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables.8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.10.
