Responsibilities

Full time 36 hours/week RN position available

PA RN, BSN and BLS required

14 Bed Intermediate/Variable Care Transplant unit (variable -> Intermediate, telemetry or med/surg levels of care). Solid organ transplants include Liver, Kidney and/or Pancreas. Additional surgeries performed by transplant may include: liver resections, hernia repairs, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy. Multiple drains/tubes: foley, NG tubes, t-tubes, Jackson Pratts, CVIR drains, Dobhoffs. Additional learning opportunities to include wound care, urostomy, colostomy, trach or chest tube. 3 East is also a closed unit due to our immunocompromised patients. Staffing ratios 3-4:1. The staff on the unit have a collaborative and team oriented approach in helping to ensure a positive patient experience as well as a positive working environment.
