APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring for multiple Certified Pharmacy Technicians for our client in Philadelphia, PA. 13 weeks contracts with a high possibility of extension.
Position Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician
Work Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr
Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 03:30 PM
Shift Days: 40 hrs a week
Certification/License: CHpT license, BLS, Covid Required

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to perform technical, clerical, and customer service tasks to support the daily operations of our pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide medication and other healthcare products to patients.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare prescription medications and over-the-counter products for dispensing.
• Receive and screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter prescription data into computer systems.
• Maintain patient profiles and medication records.
• Assist in managing inventory levels of medications and supplies.
• Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
