The Department of Pathology & Genomic Medicine is seeking candidates with training in diagnostic anatomic pathology, preferably with 1-2 years of post-fellowship training and 1-2 years diagnostic experience. This position will be based at Doylestown Hospital and will be part of the dynamic Jefferson Pathology practice located in Center City Philadelphia. The primary site has an active Surgical Pathology practice consisting of 12,500 cases and a wide spectrum of clinical subspecialties.
Service duties will involve participation in all aspects of Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology; Hematopathology, Clinical Pathology, and/or Transfusion Medicine experience are welcome, but not necessary. Pathologists are expected to participate in inter- and intra-departmental conferences. The successful candidate must be able to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License.
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or equivalent and must be certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
