Leaders in Care is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Job Description & Requirements

  Leaders in Care is helping a welcoming and collaborative Pediatric Department find an OR RN to support their day and evening needs. This contract role is based in Philadelphia, offering a compelling contract pay rate for your commitment to quality care.
  
  The OR RN will work 40 hrs per week, with shifts from 11-11, 9-9, 3-11, etc. Please only apply if you are available to work those hours.

  • 
    
  • Following the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally effective care
    
  • Gathering and synthesizing assessment data to determine the patient/family plan of care, pertinent data to be shared with the care team, and tasks to be delegated
    
  • Collaborating with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team to coordinate all facets of patient care
    
  • Developing, implementing and revising the patient's plans of care on admission and during the course of hospitalization
    
    
    A Registered Nursing License or active Temporary Practice Permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required to apply. The successful OR RN will be CPR certified with a Nursing Diploma and at least 1 year of RN experience. Prior experience in pediatrics or an area of specialty is preferred but not required. Additional qualifications include:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Basic ability to use a computer (mouse, keyboard, printer, USB ports)
      
    • Basic use of Microsoft Office (Word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and Skype)
      
    • Familiarity with using shared network file space
      
    • Experience with patient-facing technology ( IV pumps, point-of-care devices, CR monitors, etc)
      
    • Ability to collect clinical data using quality improvement tools
