Responsibilities--- Essential Functions\tPerforms within the legal
framework of the nursing profession as defined by the Nurse
Practice Act of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.\tActively engaged
in work designed to sustain and maintain Magnet Recognition Program
- accreditation (identifying and submitting 'evidence,' active
mentorship and participation in Staff Nurse Leader group
activities, preparing unit for Magnet Appraiser site visit
activities, etc.).\tExhibits understanding and use of the
Professional Practice Models:\tCare Delivery Model 'Excellence in
Caring' Shared Governance Model: Professional Practice Committees
Professional Development Model: 'Novice to Expert'\tDecision-making
and leadership activities demonstrate ethical behaviors in
accordance with TJUH policy and the ANA Code of Ethics for
Nurses.\tDemonstrates consistent adherence to HIPAA
guidelines.\tUses the nursing process in providing professional
nursing care based on established nursing care standards, policies
and procedures.QualificationsEDUCATIONAL/TRAINING

Cardiac Life Support, and advanced Cardiac Life Support in critical
