ResponsibilitiesISICU - Intermediate Surgical ICUA Registered Nurse
who provides nursing care to patients undergoing 1) varied types of
abdominal/GI surgeries including Esophageal, colorectal surgery,
and distal pancreatectomy, 2) multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, and
burns 3) bariatric surgery, 4) vascular surgery including aneurysm
repairs, lower extremity bypass, 5) urology, 6) gynecology 7) ENT,
8) trachs; ventilators & trach collar.This position includes, but
is not limited to the following essential functions.\tPerforms
within the legal framework of the nursing profession as defined by
the Nurse Practice Act of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.\tActively engaged in work designed to sustain and
maintain Magnet Recognition Program - accreditation (identifying
and submitting 'evidence,' active mentorship and participation in
Staff Nurse Leader group activities, preparing unit for Magnet
Appraiser site visit activities, etc.).\tExhibits understanding and
use of the Professional Practice Models:\tCare Delivery Model
'Excellence in Caring' Shared Governance Model: Professional
Practice Committees Professional Development Model: 'Novice to
Expert'\tDecision-making and leadership activities demonstrate
ethical behaviors in accordance with TJUH policy and the ANA Code
of Ethics for Nurses.\tDemonstrates consistent adherence to HIPAA
guidelines.\tUses the nursing process in providing professional
nursing care based on established nursing care standards, policies
and procedures.Conditions of EmploymentCovid Vaccination is a

finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected
candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three
