ResponsibilitiesACE - Medical Telemetry - B1B1 is a unit dedicated
to specializing in the care of medical surgical patient requiring
cardiac monitoring. The age of patients are 65 years and older, and
are from home and planning to return home. The most common
diagnoses are stroke, cellulitis, COPD, hip fractures, falls,
pneumonia, and UTI. This position includes, but is not limited to
the following essential functions.\tPerforms within the legal
framework of the nursing profession as defined by the Nurse
Practice Act of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.\tActively engaged
in work designed to sustain and maintain Magnet Recognition Program
- accreditation (identifying and submitting 'evidence,' active
mentorship and participation in Staff Nurse Leader group
activities, preparing unit for Magnet Appraiser site visit
activities, etc.).\tExhibits understanding and use of the
Professional Practice Models: Care Delivery Model 'Excellence in
Caring' Shared Governance Model: Professional Practice Committees
Professional Development Model: 'Novice to Expert'\tDecision-making
and leadership activities demonstrate ethical behaviors in
accordance with TJUH policy and the ANA Code of Ethics for
Nurses.\tDemonstrates consistent adherence to HIPAA
guidelines.\tUses the nursing process in providing professional
nursing care based on established nursing care standards, policies
and procedures.Qualifications.\tMust be a Registered Nurse (RN)
licensed in Pennsylvania.\tMinimum Education: BSN required or
current enrollment as approved by CNO\tNew graduates are welcome to
apply if have had work experience as C.N.A or sufficient amount of
work experience as student.\tGenerally, a minimum of 1-year
licensed professional nursing experience is preferred.\tMust
possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and ANA
standards of practice and others as determined by state and federal
regulations.\tEnglish proficiency required.\tProficient math,
keyboarding and other computer skills required. \tMust be able to
function in a dynamic, rehabilitation team work
environment.Conditions of EmploymentCovid Vaccination is a
requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at
Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not

position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular

Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI
finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected
candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three
