Job DescriptionDevani Home Care Solutions is providing Supports Brokerage Service to a family and participant through self-directed service implementation. Family and participant are seeking self-directed employees to provide 1:1 care for an adult female who requires hands on supportive service delivery.JOB SUMMARY:o Provides individualized care to build self-efficacy in activities of daily living and community participation.- Candidate shall be skillful in feeding, bathing, toileting, transferring, and utilization of wheelchair.-Candidate will be trained on stretching techniques and utilization of SureHands Lifting system.- Candidate shall be skillful in performing domestic tasks; laundry, cooking, maintaining used areas of home, changing bed linens, and feeding 2 family pets (friendly dogs).-Candidate shall be skillful with professional communication; minimal usage of personal cell phone, participant and family engagement, and submission of status updates and report out of shift events. Interaction with participant is essential and necessary.-Candidate shall be prepared to participate in in-home and community social activities. Full size van is available for transporting.o Collaborates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team to highlight an individual's accomplishments and room for improvement.o Cultivates genuine relationships with individuals and their family.REQUIREMENTS:o Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hireo Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers licenseo Must be dog friendlyo Must successfully complete a background check and drug screeno Non-smokero Must have great communication, interpersonal, and time management skillso Successful completion of First Aid/CPR and College of Direct Support TrainingsCompensation is $20.00 per hour!
