Hospitalist opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Full-Time & Moonlighting Hospitalist Positions Available - Metro/Suburban Philadelphia, PA Fulltime Hospitalist: Must be board certified in Internal Medicine Must live within 30 minutes of the Hospital (per MapQuest) Average 15-20 patients seen a day including new admissions Service has 6 physicians and 2-3 extenders working simultaneously with average 18 new admissions in 24 hour period Mid-level support staff - 2-3 everyday including weekends Open ICU - no procedures. Lines done by IV team and iRad and intubations by Anesthesiology. Other procedures including para and thoracentesis done by iRad Not an in-house call plan / house covered by house physician Schedule - generally 11 week blocks with a total 180 working days including 17 weekends on out of the year Shifts - long and short days rotating- 7am-7pm/7am-6pm/7am-5pm/pre-call/post-call/rounds only days without covering ED Days v. Nights - weekdays about 145 per year / weekends 17 per year / night on call 25-29 per year Low to mid $200's. Salary will commensurate with experience

Moonlighter Hospitalists: Must be board certified in Internal Medicine Must live within 30 minutes of the Hospital (per MapQuest) Shifts Available: Saturday-Sunday to do rounds/admissions day time 5-8 hours day ($120.00/hr) -2 weekends a month Saturday- Admit ER from 7am - 2pm, then round on patients Sunday. = $1700.00 Saturday PM (from 4pm) to Sunday (7am) - then round on admitted patients - Sunday = $2250.00 - 2 weekends per month.
