One of the largest and most renown hospital in Oklahoma is actively looking for a CRNA to join their top-notch team. The hospital serves the county and the surrounding counties through their facility and regional clinics as well as the senior housing, hospice, home health, public health, and wellness services. The hospital continues to reexamine and renew itself to remain timely and true to its mission of partnering with people to live healthier lives. Certified RN Anesthetist The Certified RN Anesthetist is accountable for the provision of safe and efficient anesthesia patient care. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. Responsibilities: The Certified RN Anesthetist responsibilities will include, effectively perform, and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient to develop an anesthetic plan. Properly initiate and administer the anesthetics, which may include general, regional, local, and sedation. Accurately select, apply, and insert appropriate non-invasive and invasive monitoring modalities for continuous evaluation of patient physical status. Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by selecting, obtaining, ordering, and administering medications, fluids, and ventilatory support. The CRNA will properly discharge the patient from a post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care and implement acute and chronic pain management modalities. Compensation

  • Competitive Salary
  • night call $250/day additional and weekend call $400/day

    • Qualifications
      • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
      • Graduate of an approved school of anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
      • Eligible to take the qualifying examination administered by the A.A.N.A. to become eligible for certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
      • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
      • County Medical Center:
      • Must hold current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and properly licensed to provide anesthesia in the State of Oklahoma.
      • CPR and ACLS required
