We are currently seeking Assistant Practitioners to join our Starting Point Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation program! Sometimes people need extra help to get back on their feet, find a place to live, and become a part of community life. Our practitioners meet with individuals in their own spaces to help them begin their journey toward growth and fulfillment.As an Assistant Practitioner, you will empower adults with mental illness to pursue their goals.Assistant Practitioners meet weekly with those served to help identify a person's strengths, needs, and barriers in accomplishing the identified goal. Goals can include anything from finding and maintaining employment, getting involved in community activities, establishing healthy habits, finding housing, and so much more. Once established, the Assistant Practitioner will support individuals to gain skills and resources to reach their goals.Through on the job training and consistent support from peers and supervisors, anyone who joins the team is offered the opportunity to grow professionally and have genuine impact on people's lives. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about empowering people to find strength within themselves to reach their own goals and someone who has interest to learn and grow in the mental health field.RequirementsWork Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm (With flexibility on evenings required based on the needs of individuals served)Assistant Practitioner Key Responsibilities: Assist individuals in skill development as defined by their Individual Recovery Plan, implementing interventions in line with psych rehab model of care. Assist Practitioner with completing documentation for those served Build rapport and effectively engage with individuals Collaborate with individual being served and Practitioners regarding strategies of identifying, achieving, and maintaining goals in four key areas: living, learning, working, and socializing Connect individuals to resources and supports in the community Learn and encourage current trends and/or philosophies within the human services field in accordance with Access Services' philosophies Requirements and Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma/GED or Associate Degree or, Certified Peer Specialist certification.Experience: One (1) years of direct care experience with individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis preferred.BenefitsPay: $17.00 per hour, and competitive benefits package All employees: Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between worksites; Discounts on various services, gyms & retail shopping; Referral bonuses, Employee Assistance Program 30+ hours/week: 20 days of PTO; 9 paid holidays 401K, Health/Vision/Dental insurance; Health Savings Account; Life/Disability insurance, Tuition Reimbursement Access Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #SJ123
