Part time LPN staff for evening shifts
3pm-11:30pm
The primary purpose of this job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing

activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards,

guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Personal Care Administrator

ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with

current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the PCU.

Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts

treatment/care plans, as required.

• Follow treatment/care plans, as required.---
  Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the
  
  care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • Active PA LPN license
  • 1+ years experience in the Assisted Living/Personal Care/Long Term Care field preferred
  • Experience with the older population
  • Effective written and verbal communication

    The LPN will play a key role in the success of Health Care Center within our community. The LPN will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues to maximize resident, family and potential resident satisfaction.     Specifically, this person will:
    Be responsible for coordinating, providing, and assisting in providing comprehensive quality patient care. Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral and follow up as appropriate to the special needs and health conditions of patients served. Maintains clinical and professional competency, promotes safe environment and performs all job responsibilities in safe manner.
