Gemma Services is seeking a full-time, Clinical Team Lead to
join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program
located in our Mt. Airy office. Our community-based programs
include Outpatient mental health services; Foster Family Care;
Adoption; Family Based; IBHS; a Family Empowerment Center, and
other In-home prevention services. Our goal is to help children,
youth, and families achieve their brightest futures and to
strengthen the communities we serve. The Clinical Team Lead is
responsible for supervising the Behavioral Health Technician and
monitoring compliance with adopted best practice
standards/treatment models; implementing strategies to achieve
goals developed for the department as part of the organizations
annual operating plan; ensuring compliance with operating policies
and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; directly
supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate
management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports. This
position requires minimal evening and weekend hours as appropriate
for the supervision of the assigned staff. There is an expectation
of at least one evening a week. Position Performance: Provides
Behavior Consultation Services to assigned children in assigned
schools as illustrated by the following:
- Provide child, caregivers, 1:1 staff support and BHT
psycho-education regarding the childs diagnosis, learning style,
behavioral interventions, attachment, and trauma theory.
- Provide skills training to the child, his/her caregivers, and
school staff to increase the childs capacity to communicate
productively, manage stress and emotions, regulate affect and test
alternative thoughts and new skills.
- Provide face-to-face and telephone contact with children, legal
families, foster/adoptive families, school personnel, Gemma
Services staff, and others as appropriate.
- Utilize standardized assessment and screening tools provided by
Gemma Services at a frequency requested.
- Facilitates timely authorizations and reauthorizations with
appropriate Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), as needed.
- Ensures that all children are scheduled for
evaluations/re-evaluations/Written Orders and all relevant
information has been completed and available. (i.e., Structured
tools, Clinical summaries) as requested.
- Assists in providing clinical back-up/support for the Behavior
Consultants, Mobile Therapists, and other staff members in a

Requirements:Education/Training and Experience: Education/Training:
Masters degree in Social Work or related human service field; valid
license for the practice of Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or
Marriage and Family Therapy or a valid license of Social Work or
Behavior Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; LSW or
BSL must have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental
health direct service practicum. Skill(s):
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office software
- Visual and auditory skills Experience: A minimum of three (3)
years related experience normally required, including experience
working in the child welfare, education, and mental health systems.
Experience with Evidence Based Practices including TF-CBT, CBE and
