Job Description:

The Director of Clinical Operations manages the daily clinical activities for the divisions in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery within the Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience. The Director maintains a patient-focused facility that strives for effective and efficient operations, coordinates practice business opeations and serves as an internal consultant. The Director liaises with the clinical faculty, residents, fellows and staff and serves as an advisor to the Department Chairman and Administrator on administrative, contractual, long-range planning, thierd-party reimbursement and clinical operational issues withting the subspecialty divisions. The Director also works in collaboration with the Nurse Manager who has management oversight of clinical staff. Conditions of Employment Bachelor's and master's degrees preferred. Must have at at least 5-8 years of practice management experience. Experience working in an academic setting faculty practice preferred.
