Job DescriptionJanssen Biotech, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Director, Oncology Franchise Strategy & Key Accounts position to be based in Horsham, Pennsylvania.The Senior Director, Oncology Franchise Strategy and Key Accounts, is a critical senior management position leading marketing strategy as well as field customer facing teams across our portfolio of Oncology brands (ERLEADA--, IMBRUVICA--, DARZALEX--, and a dynamic future product portfolio) sitting on the Janssen Oncology Senior Leadership Team. The leader will have direct responsibility of an in-house marketing organization spanning channel marketing, omnichannel marketing and franchise customer experience as well as a diverse field team spanning key account management, field reimbursement/access specialists and oncology clinical educators. The Senior Director, Oncology Franchise Strategy and Key Accounts, will report directly to the President, and will collaborate closely with the VPs of Sales & Marketing, Directors of Marketing, National Sales Directors, and Strategic Customer functions across Janssen. This role will be responsible for developing an integrated strategic plan for the Oncology franchise across all brands, building the value proposition and branding experience, working to maximize our marketing communications to the diverse oncology stakeholders including but not limited to population health decision makers, HCPs, thought leaders and patients.The Senior Director will work in conjunction with brand marketing leads, developing annual Business Plans for the franchise and executing portfolio (products and services) innovations. In addition, the leader will continue to evolve a 5-year Oncology strategic plan along with the Oncology Leadership Team that will ensure a clear path toward leadership in the Oncology marketplace. This will require close collaboration with multiple functions including Sales, Sales training, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, Global Strategic Marketing, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Commercial Excellence Corporate Communications and outside vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities. This third line leader will lead a team of existing marketing (channel, omnichannel and customer experience) and field (account management, access/reimbursement and oncology clinical education) leaders which gives the leader accountability for both strategic and operational/customer facing deliverables.The Senior Director utilizes market research to properly plan Oncology franchise activities. Co-ordinates promotional activities with sales management. Partners with Sales Training on marketed products and updates as needed. Co -develops market access strategies and tactics for the current and growing oncology portfolio with brand, working with SCG partners. Supports franchise team cross-functional initiatives. Oversees the planning and execution of portfolio promotional activities at industry conventions. Interacts effectively with New Business development, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Research, and Managed Care organizations to support portfolio strategic long-term planning. Interacts and partners with key business partners including alliances and other partners on our current and future oncology portfolio in order to ensure alignment on strategies and tactics for these key products. Continually assesses competitive landscape and responds accordingly. Works within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals. Work closely with senior leadership team to ensure appropriate resources and organizational alignment is available to capitalize on short-term and long-term business opportunities.This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job functions. May perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications* BA/BS required, MBA preferred. * A minimum of 12 years business experience (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, etc) of which at least 6 years demonstrated in line US commercial experience and proven performance is required. * Biology/Scientific background is preferred. * Oncology & health system experience strongly preferred. * Digital marketing experience is strongly preferred. * Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies is required. * Broad people management responsibilities required with at least 2nd line people leadership preferred. * Previous Pharma Sales, account management or Sales Management experience strongly preferred. * Demonstrated leadership capabilities required.* The candidate must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen. * Must possess demonstrated people management experience with excellent 360 degree leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.Demonstrated ability to think strategically. Can operate in two worlds - big picture strategic orientation with attention to operational detail/execution. * Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
