Facility: ? Building a New PICU here in Harrisburg – Will be an 11
bed universal unit, opening this fall ? Currently have a 15 bed
Pediatric Unit here in Harrisburg with Pediatric Hospitalist on
staff 24/7 (Critical Care Physician also provide support here for
patients who have a change in status) Team: ? Ideally looking for
two Critical Care physicians as we grow, new unit, building a
team.
? They have support and backup of Pediatric Hospitalists and
pediatric in house anesthesia ? Also virtual support from UPMC
Children' s in Pittsburgh Work Hours: ? Varies based on patient
needs. Inpatient positions – support of physician will supplied
virtually UPMC Children' s Pittsburgh Call schedule: ? Will vary as
well, virtual support from Pittsburgh Support: ? In-house
anesthesia, In-House Pediatric Hospitalist will be supplementing
care for complex patients Procedures: ? In house pediatric
sedations, pediatric MRIs, supporting any consults through ED –
pediatric resuscitation needs throughout EDs or anywhere in
Harrisburg Hospital. High acuity ED patients.
