About St. Christopher's Hospital for Children St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children combines top-notch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Orthopedics. • Supportive health system to advance goals St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia and serves as the primary pediatric teaching site for Drexel University College of Medicine. The Section of Endocrinology and Diabetes is a growing practice with 3 board-certified pediatric endocrinologists who follow a large population of patients affected by diabetes and general endocrine disorders. In addition, our section has a well-established fellowship training program. The rapidly growing number of patients has prompted us to seek a full-time board certified/board eligible pediatric endocrinologist at the Assistant Professor level. This is an excellent academic opportunity for a physician with a strong clinical orientation and interests in scholarly activities and teaching. Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted and unchallenged license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey
  • Valid DEA Licensure
  • Experienced endocrinologists preferred, but candidates who have recently completed their Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship will be considered.
