REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT - IMMEDIATE OPENINGJoin Conifer's fast growing, great company today - a HOME for possibilities!As a Regional Vice President at Conifer Realty you will:Be responsible for overseeing and managing the regional operations of Conifer's Long Island, NY AND New Jersey portfolio of affordable housing properties. Home base can be in either area. This will include day-to-day direction with complete responsibility for staffing, physical plans and successful economic performance, in accordance with Conifer standards and the approved business plans for the properties in the Region. Regional management will include maximizing NOI in accordance with property budgets and business plan, as well as ensuring the minimization of individual property vacancies. You will "hit the ground running" from day one - managing the teams and sites. Training on the "Conifer Way" will be included. You will report directly to the Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management and will work collaboratively with your District Managers, Community Managers, key partners in Compliance, Property Management, Property Finance, Human Resources and outside housing authority representatives to ensure all required aspects of operating a stable, fiscal regional operation are covered and meeting all requirements.As a successful candidate you will have (required skills):

  • Minimum 5+ years of successful multi-site management experience required.
  • Affordable Housing experience strongly preferred. Compliance experience with LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, RD, Fair Housing required.
  • Strong MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of industry software program(s) a plus; Yardi preferred.
  • Strong financial management experience of site budgeting with roll-up to regional operations budgeting.
  • Prior experience with the maximization of properties Net Operating Income (NOI) in accordance with business plan and properties' budgets needed.
  • Prior staffing, training, and performance management experience required.
  • Flexibility to travel on a weekly and/or monthly basis as needed. Must have reliable transportation/vehicle, appropriate valid vehicle insurance, and a valid drivers' license to attend regional, site and corporate meetings, in addition to training, conferences, others.And you are person with interpersonal skills who:
