Job Description

Do you feel you have the ability to lead and educate a world class sales team on an extensive range of Gold Standard Nutritional Supplements? Solgar, a leading brand in the Natural Products Industry, is seeking a talented sales and management professional to serve as a Key Account Manager and Trainer for its Northeast Region. You will be tasked with not only growing and developing existing Key Accounts, but training, developing, and leading a group of Key Account executives.

Specific Duties Include:


  • Build productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Establish, implement and measure promotional programs and events within assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate and conduct brand education and product training events with assigned account group.
  • Collaborate with company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Pro-actively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • Train key account personnel on the entire range of Natural Product Group Products along with leading the customer account promotional planning activity and ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met by the company.

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
    • Minimum of ten years of strategic sales experience in a business-to business sales environment required.
    • Experience within the Natural Products Industry preferred.
    • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
