Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and implement category strategic
sourcing plans to meet organizational goals and large-scale savings
and performance initiatives to better serve our end user customers.
Executes supplier selection strategy, requirements, supplier base
development, and the identification of new suppliers. Identify and
develop relationships with local suppliers to ensure a reliable
supply chain and a network of resources are in place. Conduct
market research to find the best local sources and evaluate their
capabilities and performance to meet our expectations. Leads
negotiations, manages RFQs, awarding decisions and follow-up with
suppliers, in alignment with our with category strategy. Draft,
negotiate, and manage master agreements with suppliers in line with
strategy, other GEA BUs and our overall Pharma Service business
needs. Ensure all agreements, defined internally as trade
agreements are up-to-date, compliant with regulations, and reflect
the best terms for the organization. Adapts and implements
catalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional level in
compliance with guidelines. Implement and maintain quality
standards for all purchased goods and services. Perform regular
quality audits and work closely with suppliers to address any
issues and drive performance improvements. Monitors and
communicates performance of suppliers to management. Develops and
maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Prepare detailed
reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and pricing
trends. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all
procurement activities. Direct involvement in and solving of issues
with suppliers (e.g., quality, delivery and service issues), etc.
Conduct thorough data analysis to ensure cost development and
competitive pricing. Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations
to make informed decisions. Strives for automation and
digitalization practices and utilizes such tools for efficiencies
and overall improvement Ensures cost, availability, innovation, and
quality within the sourcing plan creation and execution is
exemplary Ensures compliance with the procurement process, policies
and other statutory requirements within category procurement
Accountable for achieving agreed KPIs and their reporting
Experience preferred in the pharmaceutical or life sciences
industry or food processing, is preferred Your Profile /
Qualifications Education and Experience: ??Bachelor’s degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
preferred Minimum of 7 years' experience in strategic sourcing,
procurement, or price and data analysis Strong understanding of
local sourcing, contract negotiation, and quality assurance
practices Proven record of managing supplier relationships and
achieving cost savings Procurement or Supply chain Certification
(preferred) Know-how of international contract management Cost
analysis and management Experience with implementation of corporate
procurement Work experience in complex multinational organizations
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to various
supplier/vendor locations, and once or twice a year
internationally. The typical base pay range for this position at
the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000.00 -
$128,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for
different work locations within the United States. The pay range is
not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is
the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on
various factors, including skill set, experience, location,
qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible
for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on
