The right candidate will have significant experience mentoring and coaching agile development teams towards achieving the organization's goals. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead and manage all members of the Quality Assurance team and focus on developing the people and processes that make TherapyNotes a great place to work.ResponsibilitiesProvide people leadership for multiple, diverse cross-functional teams and individuals; coaching and guiding teams to enable future successEnable a flexible yet productive work environment that supports a distributed workforce: remote and onsiteEnsure that testing practices across the teams are comprehensive and flexible while also maintaining an appropriate degree of standardizationParticipating in test architecture discussions, influencing decisions, and collaborating with peers to maintain consistency across the organizationManage personnel and administrative activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, goal settings, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary)Coach and mentor quality assurance staff; develop the team's skills and provide continuous feedbackMentoring quality assurance team members to ensure delivered solutions adhere to the testing standards, and established organizational policies and proceduresIdentifying and champion people and process improvement strategies for the team(s)Communicate organizational updates to ensure teams adhere to the established policies and proceduresCollaborate with other management team members to ensure consistency in standards and processesRequirements6 or more years experience developing software/tests and leading teams in an Agile, team-based environmentBS and/or MS in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)Strong understanding of software development testing design and agile practicesSolid understanding of automated testing concepts, frameworks and design patternsExperience with C#, Java, or similar programming languagesExperience with API and Load testing concepts and designsExcellent organizational, leadership, decision making and communication skills.Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo)Expects and requires innovation from teamHas passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in othersBenefitsCompetitive annual salary - $100,000-$150,000Employer provided medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.Retirement plan with company contributionAnnual company profit sharing and bonusPersonal development/training budgetOpen, collaborative work environmentExtensive 2-week onboarding planComprehensive mentorship programCompany provided refreshmentsTherapyNotes, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
