role on the Corporate Communications team, you will play a key role
in amplifying our brand by crafting and telling Janney's story to
internal audiences through robust communication plans to ensure our
employees understand the direction of the firm supporting employee
retention and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Corporate
Communications, you will support and lead aspects of delivering
transparency in strategic plans; communicating strategic
initiatives and progress to managers and employees; providing
executive communications; supporting operational and change
initiatives; managing firmwide communications; and consulting on
employee engagement campaigns and internal communications
activities. What you are good at:

communications that connects with employees and stakeholders

quality and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Assess and continuously improve internal communication channels
and develop a vision and strategy to enhance overall internal
communications
- Lead the strategy, management, and execution of key firmwide
communication events and publications led by Corporate
Communications such as firm town halls, firm and financial results,
and internal employee engagement newsletters, while also
proactively identifying ways to improve participation and
engagement to better inform both senior managers and all employees
on firmwide projects and initiatives.
- Develop trusted relationship with Janney's Executive Leadership
Team and provide strategic communications counsel to them. This can
and will include writing and supporting executive emails,
presentations, speeches, videos, and other communications.
- Manage communication plans and activities - from ideation and
messaging to execution - to increase awareness and create
excitement for Janney's corporate strategy.
- Improve the sourcing and management of firm news and
information and coordinate with department and business group
stakeholders.
- Manage the Janney brand internally and bringing consistency to
firm and leadership messages; providing consulting and tools to
departments as they manage their own internal communications.
- Serve as "consultant" to departments, making communication
recommendations, share best practices and propose communication
tactics in line with the stakeholder's communication
objectives.
- Write, edit, produce, and manage the distribution of corporate
communications content.
- Work closely Corporate Communication and marketing colleagues
on content management and judgement on distribution of content What
you have:
- 8-10 years of professional communications experience,
demonstrating the ability to identify and tell memorable
stories.
- Great storytelling skills - with an ability to write well,
quickly and accurately.
- Possess practical and technical knowledge of communication
channels and content production
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and
motivation
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and quickly grasp concepts
and information to apply to work assignments
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and
initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent writer and communicator with ability to establish and
maintain relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to work in both a self-directed and team-centric manner
in order to collaborate effectively and be a contributing member of
the team
- Experience with the latest employee communications/engagement
strategies and technologies
- Knowledge of the wealth management and financial industry Why
