As a member of the In Vivo Antibody Discovery Group, this role will contribute to multiple aspects of antibody discovery in a globally-integrated environment. In-depth knowledge of B-cell recovery methods such as Hybridoma technology, B-cell sorting, and microfluidics will be critical. Familiarity in next generation sequencing approaches to antibody variable-region analysis will also be important. This is a critical function in a multifaceted Biologics Discovery organization committed to bringing the next generation of biotherapeutic molecules to patients. We are looking for a motivated candidate with scientific and technical expertise who can collaborate across discovery areas to bring value to our portfolio of innovative drug concepts. Proficiency to lead within a highly coordinated, fast-paced environment will be a significant attribute. An additional knowledge base in the areas of oncology, immunology, or cardiovascular disease would be a plus. If this sounds like you, come join our team! Primary responsibilities: --- Lead a team of scientists in the recovery of antigen-specific B-cells from immunized mice --- Monitor external innovation in the field, and drive the development of industry-leading processes for therapeutic antibody discovery --- Lead therapeutic antibody projects in collaboration with Therapeutic Area organizations
