Operations Manager, Goldenberg Candy CompanyThe Operations Manager at the GCCPhiladelphia facility supervises maintenance and manufacturing activities thatresult in candy products that meet Just Born's quality, budgetary and salesrequirements in a safe environment that embraces the Company philosophy.-- Provides technical support and troubleshootsprocesses to keep the facility running efficiently.-- Identifies opportunities and implementssolutions to improve productivity, safety, and quality through support of acontinuous improvement environment and challenging of the status quo.-- Provides leadership support for the entirefacility and acts to ensure cost and product quality standards are met.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain fielddesired.-- MBA a plus.Minimum of seven years related experience in foodor consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing leadership role; confectioneryindustry experience a plus. Management and labor relations experience in aunion environment desired. Safety and continuous improvement mindset.Possess or demonstrate the aptitude for furtherdevelopment of the following skills:-- management skills, leadership qualities, planning & execution,training & development, coaching, teamwork, customer focus and emotionalintelligence.Advanced technical/professional knowledge.-- Excellent communication, business andfinancial acumen, and interpersonal skills.Comfortable learning and using SAP as needed.Key Responsibilities:Manage all manufacturingactivities in accordance with facility goals, product standards, costs,budgets, workforce, and established procedures.-- Plan and coordinate production activities and team objectives.-- Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing ofall associates in support of the Company s people first culture.Plan,organize, and supervise the maintenance associates, including job priorities.-- Assist in the coordination of shifttroubleshooting efforts and coordinate additional resources or technicalsupport for resolution of problems with current equipment and/or newinstallations.
