- How we LEAD: The Vice President of Product Management,
e-Commerce, will lead a product team responsible for artist
storefronts in the US. This is a critical role, working with the
business, marketing, & engineering teams, to optimize and influence
the product roadmap for eCommerce activities at UMG. This is a
newly created position, coming at a critical time, as UMG looks to
upgrade and unify its eCommerce efforts globally. If you love music

artists and their fans. How you'll CREATE:
- Function as the lead product manager for eCommerce at UMG in
the United Sates; support the eCommerce team's vision by helping
shape the eCommerce platform strategy and building out capabilities
to enable new and existing revenue streams
- Support a frictionless purchasing experience, such as
- Unifying the consumer journey and messaging across UMGs digital
touch points to connect with prospects and customers, -
- Partnering with UX & creative to optimize the end-to-end funnel
across landing page, shopping, checkout and order fulfillment
- Personalizing the products and services offered, and
- Measuring the complete customer lifecycle
- Constantly measure the customer feedback loop; ensure customer
happiness and loyalty
- Understand site performance and user behavior to enable
business decision-making
- Drive site analytics and reporting to understand drop-off,
monitor cart abandonment, identify friction in checkout process,
and improve site engagement to increase customer acquisition
- Optimize product/category data and SEO/SEM performance
- Manage sales, promotions, and new product launches across
digital platforms
- Install and manage Shopify app integrations to improve customer
acquisition and retention
- Collaborate with business owners and SMEs to define product
backlog and prioritize features / solutions according to market
value and business needs -
- Work with Business Analysts and Technical Product Managers to
translate the product vision into actionable stories a dev team can
pick up
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and provide
feedback on vendors; identify and recommend partnerships and or
acquisition opportunities to expand product capabilities and fill
out our suite of services. Bring your VIBE:
- The ideal candidate has 12-15 years working in a product
development environment and a deep understanding of eCommerce
platforms
- 7-10+ years Product Owner / Product Management experience
- 5-7+ years full product lifecycle experience managing revenue
focused products within eCommerce or marketplace websites
- Experience with managing a product team
