Job Description:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a
Clinical Supply Program Manager, Commercial . The Program Manager
has overall responsibility and accountability for providing Global
Leadership and proactive Client Relationship management to a client
or group of clients as appropriate ensuring appropriate
communication, business engagement, implementation, and service
delivery to enable retention, growth and long-term mutual business
partnership. This will be achieved through leading global teams
comprised of Global Project Managers and Project Managers across
Demand-Led and Direct to Patient trials.
This is a full-time role position: Monday - Friday, days (FLEXIBLE
SCHEDULE, REMOTE AND ON-SITE SPLIT).

This 206,878 square-foot facility, located in the Philadelphia area
is Catalent's global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply
Packaging. Catalent offers GMP secondary packaging and clinical
labeling services throughout our global network. Packaging can be
configured to hold a single product or multiple products as
determined by study requirements. We offer manual patient kit
assembly along with semi-automated and automated wallet sealing and
high-speed automated carding to meet the needs of studies of all
sizes. For temperature sensitive products and those with minimal to
zero allowable time out of environment, we can perform secondary
packaging in refrigerated and frozen packaging rooms or over dry
ice depending upon your project needs. Using our Clinicopia global
labeling system with its multi-lingual label phrase library we can
design single panel, booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID--- safe
storage labels for your studies. Single panel and Peel-ID--- safe
storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via
our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our
facilities.

The Role:
Strategic planning and goal setting, project execution and
governance, project documentation, project prioritization and
portfolio alignment, cross functional resource identification, and
process improvement and standards development.
Manage several large-scale commercial projects concurrently,
creating governance structure to report on program health. Position
is responsible for providing motivation; leadership and direction
to the CSS site teams, ensuring all assigned customers' projects
and programs are managed effectively and delivered according to
Catalent and customer expectations.
The Commercial CSS Program Manager is accountable for leading
internal cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of
projects within the program from initiation to close out, ensuring
teams are following established policies and procedures in the
delivery to agreed scope, customer expectations and mutually agreed
goals and objectives of Catalent and the customer.
Builds relationships with customer and internal resource group to
facilitate effective communication and collaborative working
practices. To aid in communication, this individual will be
responsible for developing and implementing dashboards or other
communication tools to be leveraged at all levels of the
organization.
Act as the customer advocate and ensure comprehensive and seamless,
"One Catalent" approach to customers. Required to identify and
build strong relationships with decision makers, influencers and
day to day working contacts in the assigned customer company.
Work with internal and external parties to lead any remediation
activities with any customer experiencing difficulties or
challenges. Develop a deep understanding and expertise of customer
specific practices and tools to ensure Catalent alignment.
Own point of accountability role for Catalent and serve as primary
point of escalation in the delivery of assigned programs and
projects and develop close relationship and communication with
customer assigned point of accountability for assigned programs and
projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives. This will require
Coordination with sales, operations, client services, and Quality
to ensure the highest level of client service.
Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience as a
Project/Program Manager with commercial pharmaceutical products
(packaging/manufacturing) required.
PMP or formal project management certification preferred
Management Qualification preferred
In depth understanding of clinical trials, contract
development/research, and current Catalent business services.
Thorough knowledge of GMP
Good knowledge of drug development process and GCP requirements in
clinical development
Experience in demonstrating leadership, influencing and
collaboration in a multi discipline environment.
Physical requirements: Individual may be required to sit, stand,
walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds; ability to
communicate orally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Regular
use of telephone and email. Hearing, vision, and speaking within
normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive
ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Good
manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as
computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and fax machines. Good
reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize
management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
If NOT located in Philadelphia, candidate must be willing to travel
25%.
