Senior Division Director - Opioid Treatment Program Clinic
Development researches and develops de novo Outpatient Treatment
Program (OTP) site locations, relocations of any existing OTP
facilities, and oversees all OTP renovations, expansions, or
additions.
- Assesses site opportunities against best objective measures for
success and all functions of the commercial RE transactions (Lease
or Purchase/Sale Agreement). Negotiates all terms which best align
with company targets. Secures proper zoning and all necessary state
clearances on siting OTP facilities.
- Oversees preliminary external opportunity assessment,
intelligence gathering, and analysis of acquisition opportunities
and/or assists in any acquisition opportunities when needed.
Designs test fits and contracts with Architects and General
Contractors in the implementation of OTP sitting directly or
through project managers. Prepares documented analysis to present
and recommend business opportunities to leadership.
- Represents the company in the behavioral health community
cultivating relationships to attract business opportunities to the
organization and foster strategic partnerships. Meets with Product
Management to present recommended opportunities and discuss
projects in pipeline. Bachelor's degree required, master's degree
preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare Business Development
management.
Travel Requirements: 40% Domestically
Active Real Estate license helpful, but not required. Emphasis
placed on knowledge and experience with commercial real estate
leasing.
Candidate must reside in the region, which includes the following
states: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia,
Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut.
- Experience managing OTP site selection, vetting, leasing, and
securing best locations for healthcare facilities strongly
recommended.
- Knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse industry.
(OTP/OUD preferred)
- Knowledge of project management, construction of healthcare
facilities and design layout skills.
- Experience with land use and commercial real estate leasing
(Licensed Real Estate Agent preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to make and defend site location and acquisition
recommendations.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability
to operate most standard office equipment.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data
& information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to
interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all
levels; both internal and external.
- Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries;
understands when to route inquiries to next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior
attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent
priority changes.
- Capable of working within established policies, procedures and
practices prescribed by the organization. Qualifications
- Develops and maintains a data driven approach to evaluate the
substance use disorder (SUD) market by state, county and MSA level
to powering UHS's market expansion by channel and offering. Works
cooperatively with Mental Health Outcomes to share industry
insights and experience benefitting the entire enterprise.
- Provides target markets for UHS expansion to enhance the
existing UHS platforms and new markets as well, based on
quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Works cooperatively with all corporate departments to lead or
assist as needed the new clinic expansion process (i.e., real
estate site selection, zoning, construction, licensing and
regulatory application/inspection processes).
- Gathers business intelligence such as financial reports,
referral sources, census reports, and community information to
evaluate acquisition's fit and value to the company.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key outside industry
leaders and effectively leverages those relationships to generate
acquisition prospects and gather business intelligence.
- Participates in due diligence and execution of acquisition
transactions providing guidance and counsel throughout the
process.
- Attends conferences and trade group meetings to network and
remain current on industry trends in regulatory developments that
can impact new clinic development and/or reimbursement trends.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.
