Job DescriptionReporting to the SVP, Global Marketing and Special Projects, this position is responsible for the effective brand and brand strategy development and prelaunch go-to-market (GTM) planning for select programs in our global biosimilar portfolio. Additionally this role provides global commercial input to the target product profile (TPP) and R&D development of each asset. This role will also support commercial diligence for potential business development opportunities on an as needed basis. -Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Owner and commercial leader for select Global Biosimilar programs (functions as decision maker on brand issues) as well as input into the Global Biosimilars strategy.
  • Represent Global Marketing on all Biosimilar R&D Project Teams for select assets providing commercial input representing the needs of all regions.
  • Develop brand strategy and go-to-market strategy for select pre-launch global biosimilar assets including naming, positioning, messaging, and campaign development
  • Identify Market Research and insight needs partnering with Commercial Insights and Analytics. Use insights gathered to inform strategy and program development.
  • Monitor the external competitive environment as well as policy changes to incorporate into strategic planning for each biosimilar program.
  • Support global budget, forecast, and P&L development for select biosimilars.
  • Represent select biosimilar assets at key governance and monthly planning meetings.
  • Lead and contribute to annual business planning processes including Brand Planning, LRP, Portfolio Review, and AOP. -
  • Provide input for business development opportunities.Travel Requirements: Domestic travel as neededQualified candidate should reside in West Chester PA, Parsippany, NJ or Amsterdam.Qualifications
    • Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical experience including 7-10 years of Global marketing experience (Regional in-line marketing experience will also be considered)
    • Experience with biosimilars a plus.
    • Experience leading and managing Global matrix, cross-functional teams
    • Understands the pharmaceutical development process from Phase 1 through regulatory approval.
    • Understands the development of and defense of a Target Product Profile (TPP)
    • Capable of building a business case (forecasts, P&L assumptions) and garnering commitment for additional resources
    • Understands the development of brands and brand strategy for biologic(s) or injectable medicines including positioning, segmentation, branding, and core messaging and the development creative campaigns, packaging, and labeling for pipeline assets.
    • Experience in developing go-to-market strategic and tactical plans. Launch experience a plus.
    • Demonstrates high-level understanding of US retail (pharmacy) and medical (buy and bill) reimbursement environments. Understanding of European pricing and reimbursement bodies and processes (e.g. HTAs, Tenders) a plus.
    • Demonstrates broad understanding of laws and regulations governing pharmaceutical marketing
    • Additional Qualifications:
    • Experience with various types of insights and market research along with working with MR to develop annual MR plan and budget.
    • Experience working with an Agency of Record (AOR) for brand and brand strategy development.
    • Experience working with P&MA and GHEOR to develop brand pricing and access strategy including product pricing, contracting and distribution and implementing strategies and tactics across multiple channels, groups and products.
