• Employee Recognition Programs We are seeking to hire a Proposal Manager I to join our Commercial Team--- If any of the below describes you, we would love to meet you! JOB SUMMARY Adare is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join our business support team focused on customer service and quality. This role is responsible for writing high-quality technical proposals for various CDMO service offerings including Co-Development, Technology Transfer, and others, in the oral drug product space. This is a remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
  • Evaluate RFI/RFQ/RFPs and discuss with prospective clients as necessary to ensure a technical understanding of clients' needs and for development of an appropriate proposal approach. Provide technical assessment/recommendation of potential project opportunities to Management, SMEs and members of the Business Development/Business Management team.
  • Generate high quality, detailed proposals (High Level Budgetary, Detailed scope and Statement of Work) for any phase (Pre-Clinical through Commercial) manufacturing in support of RFP/RFQ/RFIs.
  • Participate in external client calls or internal calls to gather info for proposal scoping
  • Properly manage data and secure appropriate documentation archiving.
  • Liaise with cross functional teams involved in the design of project plans to define and incorporate in the proposal tasks/scope and duration/workload estimate.
  • Coordinate with the business development team and client as necessary for the review and revision of proposals including email, video stream, and face-to-face.
  • Continuously improve the proposal and proposal management processes including template and scoping tools optimization.
  • Diligently track the pipeline of proposals and communicate the status to upper management as necessary.
  • Create proposal related analytics, KPIs, and reports as required.
  • BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college; plus, a minimum of two (2) years of related experience required with a Bachelor's degree; or one (1) year and an advanced degree.
  • Experience in writing proposals for a CMO/CDMO, oral solid space preferred.
  • Technical understanding of a CDMO cGMP manufacturing environment and associated analytical support.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and personal time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills both internal and external.
  • Proposal or technical writing experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (experience with MS Project preferred).
  • SharePoint and Salesforce.com experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to participate / lead meetings (via teleconference) in different time zones.
  • Minimal travel will be required. ***Level will depend on experience, required experience below is the minimum for a Manager I***
