Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Tax Operations team in quarterly and annual US GAAP
reporting
- Assist the US and Non-US Planning teams in accounting for and
documenting income tax conclusions for transactions and
restructurings, inclusive of Pillar Two
- Assist the Senior Director, Tax Operations, in developing
processes and technology solutions for Day 1 Pillar Two reporting
and compliance
- Ability to synthesize US Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax
(CAMT), Pillar Two, US International rules and apply ASC 740
reporting concepts The Assistant Director, Tax Operations will be
focused on:
- Income Tax Accounting - Mastery of complex accounting for
income tax issues under ASC 740 including the following:
- Interim reporting
- Intra-period Allocations
- Valuation allowances
- Business combinations, dispositions, and joint ventures
- Uncertain tax positions
- Outside basis differences
- Permanent reinvestment of foreign earnings
- Foreign currency issues
- Experience with IAS 12 a plus
- US GAAP to Statutory reporting differences
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with SEC annual reporting
(Form 10-K) and quarterly reporting (Form 10-Q) requirements,
including disclosures
- Experience working with multinational SEC registrants
- Ability to communicate complex accounting for income tax
concepts and issues to a diverse audience of both internal and
external stakeholders
- Pillar Two -Strong desire to learn the Pillar Two Model Rules
and definitions including the following:
- Income Inclusion Rule (IIR)
- Underpayment Tax Payments Rules (UTPR)
- Calculation of Globe Income/(Loss)
- Calculation of Top up Tax
- Substance Based Income Exclusions (SBIE) Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of diverse corporate tax experience in
the US multinational sector (primary focus on income tax and income
tax accounting) with a public accounting firm and/or in
industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability
to communicate/present issues and recommendations in a clear and
concise manner
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Rotation in Big 4 National Tax Practice focusing on ASC 740
preferred
- Experience with income tax provision software, such as OTP, a
plus
- Ability to interact effectively with executives, management and
functional peer groups and to gain cooperation from others,
including working within a matrix organization
- Ability to motivate and drive results in multi-geographic and
multi-cultural environments
- Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them through to

Compensation The base salary compensation range being offered for
this role is $100,000-192,000. Company Benefits WTW provides a
