  As our Director, Responsible Sourcing, your role would be to ensure our Global Responsible Sourcing Strategy is implemented in the North America region. - The vision is to improve the Quality of Life of our stakeholders, ensuring every dollar we spend will create a positive impact on individuals, communities and the environment. - Sodexo's global Responsible Sourcing Strategy focuses on three main impact areas: -

    This is a -remote -role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
    The successful candidate will:
    
    • 
      
    • Work toward embedding sustainability and corporate responsibility into the supply functions according to the issues relevant to each category
      
    • Utilize a balanced approach to ensure responsible sourcing strategies incorporate Sodexo's goals as well as those of our clients
      
    • Lead supply actions, measurement and audited reporting related to SBTi verified carbon target as well as other sustainability and social responsibility commitments, creating new processes as necessary.
      
    • Support the business segments regarding responsible sourcing solutions for clients, whether part of current operations, marketing and/or sales activities
      
    • Where necessary, work toward systemic change through external engagement, including work with clients, suppliers, government organizations, multi-stakeholder working groups, and NGOs.

      • Exceptional knowledge and expertise in sustainability and corporate responsibility with a focus on supply management and procurement. -
        
      • Stellar communication skills including the ability and willingness to present on a variety of sustainability topics to both internal and external audiences.
        
      • Ability to work cross functionally across a global and highly matrixed organization.
        
      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
        
      • Seven years combined experience in sustainability and procurement

        Position Summary
        Develops and manages Sodexo's Key Performance Indicators for measuring our sustainability, community and overall corporate citizenship performance including the performance of our supplier network. Leads the overall development of Sodexo's reporting for activities in North America in manners consistent with the Global Reporting Initiative and develops systems of measurement to support Sodexo's engagement in national and global climate change and sustainable development efforts.

        Basic Education Requirement - -Bachelor's Degree -or equivalent experience
