Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) The Agency Service Director coordinates the day-to-day sales support operations of the three branch offices for the Excelsior Insurance General Agency. The position is responsible for driving processes supporting broker sales quoting, case management, enrollment data, sales reporting/forecasting, and broker communication for all sales volume processed through the Excelsior General Agency. The role will provide leadership oversight across the branches to maintain current NPS, productivity, case speed, and uniform quality for the distribution partners we support. In addition, the Service Director will advance streamlining uniform processes across the company. The Agency Service Director develops operational plans to help scale a uniform national support model for all current and future office branches. The role reports directly to the COO of Excelsior Insurance Brokerage and will lead operational support staff. A primary focus of this role will be liaising with cross- functional administration, marketing, and sales teams. If you are located in Excelsior, MN, you will have the flexibility to Work from home and in the office in this hybrid role as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day sales support operations and personnel
  • Understands the organization's business strategy, operating vision, business capabilities, product, and technology imperatives
  • Partners with business and IT stakeholders to identify the highest priority programs
  • Makes prioritization and tradeoff recommendations consistent with overall organizational strategies and priorities
  • Critically evaluates current processes and making recommendations for improvements
  • Understands industry trends and emerging capabilities to inform prioritization of work
  • Works closely with the analytics function to define clear success metrics, KPIs, measure results, and shift investments to maximize ROI and team productivity
  • Provides business and technology stakeholders regular updates on operational performance
  • Implements, manages, scales, and continuously improves office processes
  • Develops solid working relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Continually assesses the external environment and competition to maximize growth opportunities, potential acquisitions, and capital investments
  • Provides leadership and strategic consultation to COO on issues, trends, risks, and opportunities to help enable service operations scaling
  • Develops, directs, leads, and executes business and operational strategies impacting the branch offices You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and/or process design
    • Experience in large complex organizations driving a strategic agenda with tactical deliverables
    • Proven ability to influence and build consensus across a multidisciplinary set of partners
    • Demonstrated solid analytics problem-solving skills applied to a variety of business and technology solutions
    • Proven ability to express complex ideas and solutions in a straightforward and concise manner
    • Proven self-starter and ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and deliver clear solutions
    • Demonstrated success 'building' and scaling new products or services from scratch
    • Vendor partnerships/vendor management experience
    • Cross-functional experience in dealing with both internal and external customers
    • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

      • Post-graduate degree in business administration, finance, marketing, economics, or healthcare
