At the Philadelphia Center for Psychotherapy (PCP), we are looking to hire a Clinical Director (PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology) who is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. This position will be hybrid (in-person & remote), and it will include the provision of psychological services for individuals who struggle with various issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the supervision of Master and Doctorate level trainees, who will be joining the practice in the Spring of 2023.
At PCP, we value your time and your mental well-being, just like we value that of our clients; that's why the workload is not intense,--and--you will not be expected to work more than 30 hours per week in total for a full-time position.--This is a fee-for-service position--that will offer you a range of potential earnings up to $148,000 per year for a full caseload of patients and supervisees. Please include a resume and a cover letter with your application. Our ideal candidate holds a doctorate in psychology and a psychology license in PA, and has 2+ years of post-doctoral experience. --- Deliver psychological services to adults and children, that will include individual and couples therapy, and sometimes psychological assessments
--- Supervise up to 4 trainees on a weekly basis (beginning in Spring of 2023)
--- Utilize an integrative approach to therapy, preferably utilizing psychodynamics, CBT, and ACT.
--- Document all notes for each therapy session and supervision meeting by the end of the work day
--- Maintain a minimum of 26 client hours per week on average for a full-time position when not supervising any trainees, and a minimum of 20 client hours when supervising up to 4 trainees
--- Participate in weekly 1:1 supervision with the director of PCP
--- Lead and participate in weekly 1-hour peer consultations
--- Maintain professional, collegial, and collaborative teamwork ethics that will be essential to the work culture at the Philadelphia Center for Psychotherapy


This position requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills
--- Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
--- Active psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania
--- Having experience and passion for supervising trainees
--- Flexible attitude that can be reflected in ability to handle change and unexpected circumstances as they emerge
--- Ability to supervise trainees with various therapeutic orientations, and with flexibility and humility
--- Familiarity and experience with a variety of approaches to therapy (e.g., psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, IFS, etc)
--- Excellent analytical, communication, and observational skills
