Application ManagerKing of Prussia, PA Our executive search firm has a newly created opening for an Application Manager for a well-established, profitable specialty chemical business. $400M Division (operates in 40 countries), 10B+ parent company

• Position resides at Corporate HQ
• Great opportunity to wear a lot of different hats and be visible to executive leadership daily Select Responsibilities:
  • Lead position offering high level support to a global sales force and customers for specialty chemical products (diverse offerings)
  • Perform/supervise staff in execution of lab scale pilot operations (novel uses for products); utilizing critical data to help solve issues in the field
  • Engage with customers, providing additional technical and troubleshooting support on products and associated equipment
  • Develop and present various technical training and sales presentations to the sales force and customers
  • Work as a member of the Applications team to develop content for the website on technical applications
  • Support development in the lab and manufacturing facility for new treatment technologies
  • Present technical applications materials at internal and external tradeshows and conferences
  • Interact at both HQ & Manufacturing site (30 min away) as needed Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, or similar focus
    • Min 5 years in the design or application of specialty chemicals
    • Sales, customer service and marketing experience
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Excellent communications skills
