  • Lead the Global Purolite procurement team in ensuring accurate buying cost, building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and ensuring contracts are in place to protect Purolite business operations and engagements
  • Responsible for total deliveredcost (TDC), security of supply, accelerated supplier innovation and procurement processimprovements across the organization
  • Lead and develop strategic supplier relationships at the executivelevel
    • Maintain awareness of global macro-economic factors thatdirectly impact the company's procurement costs including global raw material costs,labor cost, transportation cost and foreign exchange. Develop alternatesourcing strategies as these factors begin to negatively impactpurchasing operations.
      • Partner with internal planning function to build a resilient strategy to eliminate single and sole sources
      • Coordinate optimal inventory levels to achieve highest level of service while controlling costs
      • Provide commercial teams with solutions and support necessary to meet customer needs
      • Coach, mentor and develop team of direct reports to improve skills, execution and results
      • Work within confidential environment as it relates to company policies, production procedures and technical specificationsMinimum Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's degree
        • Minimum 10 years of procurement and/or commercial experience,
        • Prior chemical industry experience
        • Prior experience building, developing and leading a team of direct reports

          • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and/or MBA
          • Prior indirect procurement and/or buying experience
          • Ability to develop and foster a collaborative team, with an emphasis on promoting and maintaining engagement of associates
          • Ability to communicate effectively, drive for results
          • A history of leading teams through successful integrations
