    • Annual Profit-Sharing Bonus (Employer Discretionary) PURPOSE AND SUMMARY Reporting to the Director of Compliance and Quality, the Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring corporate adherence to Export Compliance plans for ThermOmegaTech, Inc, and TJM Electronic Associates, Inc. The Compliance Manager will be the subject matter expert for Export Compliance and regulatory matters across the organization, including developing procedures, creating work instructions, and ensuring record retention. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Maintain current understanding of all aspects of Export Compliance requirements through ongoing research and participation in training (webinars/seminars).
      • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to reflect compliance with export regulations.
      • Resolve export-related questions from various departments, including Inside Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Shipping.
      • Retain and audit export-related documentation and records.
      • Assist in technical data management and controls .
      • Manage Denied Party Screening activities to ensure all business dealings are in accordance with various denial listings and sanction programs.
      • Apply knowledge of Incoterms, freight forwarding, AES/ACE filings, and Free Trade Agreements to support Shipping Department.
      • Engage in component classification and submit CCRs and GCs as required in the course of business.
      • File for and manage export licenses for EAR and ITAR-controlled products.
      • Conduct Training of Staff, ensuring all hands maintain a basic understanding of Trade Compliance.
      • Review and update company terms and conditions, as required.
      • Review and provide guidance on customer/vendor terms and conditions and other agreements.
      • Ensure company information is up to date on various data platforms.
      • In conjunction with the Compliance Specialist, conduct internal audits to identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement activities.
      • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Educational requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus Minimum experience 7+ yrs. in Compliance or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment 3+ yrs. In a Compliance Management role Experience with Government contracting and understanding of FAR, DFARS clauses Experience with contract development and negotiation Physical requirements The job may require extended periods of standing or sitting. The job may require lifting up to 30lbs. Mental requirements The job requires reading and understanding mechanical drawings and general knowledge of GD&T. The job requires basic math skills. The job requires knowledge of computers, business ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with statistics, quality control documentation, SPC Work environment The job requires you to spend most of the day in or around the manufacturing area. Manufacturing Facilities are generally noisy, dusty and occasionally have an odor from certain processes. Contact with petroleum-based lubricants and cleaners may not be avoidable.
