The Role In 2021, Veeva began the development of a new strategic business, Vault CRM for MedTech. -Like Veeva CRM, which is Veeva Systems' market-leading CRM for the Pharma/Bio-Tech industry, Vault CRM will be Veeva Systems' CRM for the global MedTech Industry (Medical Device and Diagnostics). -Vault CRM is built on the highly flexible and robust Veeva Vault platform. This is an opportunity to join at the early stage of a business unit that will address a large market. This global leadership role is responsible for all market-facing aspects of Vault CRM. The VP of Strategy will own the market strategy, from initial go-to-market and beyond as Vault CRM moves into market leadership. This includes close collaboration with Product Management as well so that our Product Strategy and Market Strategy are aligned to where the market needs to go. At Veeva, the VP of Strategy operates as the "virtual CEO" of a market. -They collaborate with external (customers, prospects, partners, analysts) and internal (sales, marketing, services, product management) stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Defining, executing, and adapting a market strategy of CRM for MedTech
  • Enabling and supporting the "field" team to execute against the strategy you define across the customers' lifecycle from marketing and sales to delivery on ongoing customer success
  • Establishing executive relationships with customers, prospects, and partners
  • Create a reference selling network of CRM in MedTech
  • Guiding the product based on SME and your observations of how to create business value for the Commercial and Medical team within the MedTech industries
  • Driving a business from early adopters to $200M+ and identifying adjacent areas to expand the market size and overall valueRequirements
    • 5+ years of recent experience with CRM in the MedTech industry (not just as an end-user)
    • 2+ years of experience selling enterprise software or strategy or delivery services
    • A deep understanding of commercial operations within the MedTech industry (SME)
    • Excellent communication skills as this leadership role will include speaking with prospects and customers as well as speaking engagements at conferences
    • Located in the East Coast time zone
