Summary of Role The Global Procurement Category Manager of Hosting & Service Management will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop/lead sourcing strategies related to hosting & service managements. Knowledge is essential in compute, storage, middleware, infrastructure, service management and reporting platforms, end user compute, software, and licensing to meet the business and stakeholder needs. A strong knowledge of wider major Technology providers is also desired / required. You must have experience in building and maintaining key business stakeholder relationships within the category and serve as a trusted advisor and partner for them on hosting, end user and infrastructure related matters for WTW. You will support the Senior Global Category Manager Associate Director of Hosting & End User with relevant category planning for the business. You will also have a creative and positive approach to problem solving and a strong collaborative approach with other team members and stakeholders. The Role Management of procurement activities including sourcing, commercial negotiations, and project management for Hosting & Service Management with aim to mitigate risks and achieve intended financial outcomes Accountable for management and delivery of projects including renewals, consolidations of existing relationships and other sourcing activities Provide guidance and manage escalations on those individual efforts Maintain relationships with colleagues on the Category Management team, internal stakeholders, as well as suppliers. To put the interests of WTW, clients and the integrity at the heart of the way you a WTW do business Leverage vendor relationships through negotiation to ascertain best in class products/services while reducing total cost of ownership, proven track record of year-on-year delivery As required provide leadership of high-profile sourcing initiatives The Requirements Several years of technology procurement experience Experience/knowledge in compute, storage, middleware, infrastructure, service mgmt. and reporting platforms, end user computer, and software and licensing Experience in supplier negotiations Strong relationship building skills and ability to communicate complex ideas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to Procurement challenges Change management and self-awareness skills to adopt targeted approaches to a dynamic set of stakeholders Ability to articulate Procurement's value, specifically as a Procurement business partner In-depth knowledge of complex sourcing and procurement principles and best practices Strong Industry Procurement knowledge Strong legal contract knowledge and negotiation experience Familiarity with relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, and industry standards as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance WTW may be subject to mandatory employment-related COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
