The Program Manager is accountable for overseeing program design,
implementation and evaluation for the nursing scholars program. The
program is a multi-year program whereby high school students apply
and offered acceptance into a longitudinal program that extends
beyond high school into completion of a BSN program while
maintaining part-time employment. Under the direction of executive
nursing leadership, the incumbent will assist with the development
and organization of the integrated program and manage the
day-to-day administrative functions of the operations, as well as
develop and maintain key relationships that span the hospital,
community and academic settings.
The Program Manager shall be responsible for the development and
attainment of the program mission, short and long term goals,
operational goals and objectives identified and maintains effective
stakeholder relationships. It is expected that this individual will
be a strong program builder as well as strategic thinker. The
Program Manager will work collaboratively with local/regional high
schools, program participants, the academic nursing program,
mentors, internal and external leaders, and various community
partners. The Program Manager will coordinate operational planning
activities for the overall benefit of the RN scholar program. The
Program Manager will have direct oversight for all aspects of the
program from recruitment, marketing, enrollment, program budget
management and development of robust program evaluation plan to
ensure program success.
Bachelor's Degree Health Care Administration, Social Work, Business
Administration or similar required.
Master's Degree Health Care Administration, Social Work, Business
Administration or similar required
