Sales Manager in Training We are currently looking for a creative, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Sales Manager in Training. This is a high-performing position that allows you to develop your current sales skills to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. Do you love a challenge? Hours: This is a full-time commitment, so while we can be somewhat flexible with hours, we're looking for someone that can work 36 - 40 hrs per week. Training: Paid training and ongoing support will be provided for the successful candidate as they begin and develop within our team. Location: Philadelphia, PA (this position is an in person role) Compensation: During the training period, our Sales Manager will be paid on a weekly basis through a combination of base pay and commissions. More detailed information will be provided during the interview stages because it depends on the campaign, but the average take-home earnings are between $750-900/week across our current campaigns.Job Requirements:Sales Manager in Training Job Description As a Sales Manager In Training you will initially work as part of our sales team to ensure you have a strong foundation in our sales process and ensure the overall success of our promotional sales events. With the training provided you will start to oversee and manage a high performing sales team as well as contributing to the organization of our events. You will collaborate with various professionals / departments within the company so it's essential that you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. Sales Manager in Training Responsibilities

  • Engaging with consumers face-to-face and reading their facial expressions and body language to determine their level of interest
  • Learn how to manage the sales representatives team
  • Assisting in organizing marketing events
  • Produce individual sales results at private retail based events
  • Point of sale transactions
  • Set and track sales targets
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales team
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team
  • Organize training sessions to teach product features and sales techniques
  • Conduct role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g. negotiation, teamwork and conflict management)
  • Lead and motivate sales representatives to achieve specific company goals
  • Provided 1-1 support and training sessions Requirements for all Sales Manager in Training
    • Applicants 1+ years experience in a leadership based role - For some of our team they had experience as a leader / captain of a sports team - all experience will be taken into consideration.
    • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills (Ideal not essential as training is provided)
    • Strong analytical, organizational and people skills
    • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field would be a bonus but not essential
