About the role: In your role as Director of Portfolio Planning &
Change Management, Clinical Solutions (CS), you will ensure that
the Global Clinical Innovation & Solutions Delivery (GCISD)
organization has the proper operational controls, administrative
and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to ensure
deliverables produced by the group meet market needs and
established OKRs. You will be responsible for driving engagement,
communications efficiency, and alignment across the organization.
As the Director of Portfolio Planning & Change Management, you will
play an integral part on the GCISD Leadership team, navigate
complex business and management challenges, and collaborate across
a variety of internal stakeholders. Success in this role will
include serving as a thought partner to GCISD leadership team,
supporting the operational efficiency of the group by developing
timely communications, performance analysis, and ensuring the
leadership is in lock step with one another and the broader
organization. Another key aspect of success will be effectively
driving and coaching managers across the organization to help them
achieve high levels of employee engagement within their teams. This
role is critical to the success of GCISD and is key to removing
barriers; the Director of Portfolio Planning & Change Management
will share context, drive transparency, and appropriately
prioritize time, thought, and resources towards Elsevier's Clinical
Solutions key areas of focus. This role will report to the SVP of
Global Clinical Innovation & Solution Delivery. In this exciting
role, you will be responsible for: Owning the communication
strategy and execution; Supporting operational execution of the
GCISD strategy such that cross-functional leaders and employees are
provided with the knowledge and information needed to excel in
their rolesCollection, analysis and cross functional sharing of
internal data & business insights for GCISD strategy creation and
monitoring; facilitation and aggregation of external research (in
coordination with strategy, commercial and UX teams)Partnering with
the SVP of GCISD to build and maintain high functioning teams and
engaging working environmentsEnabling GCISD Leadership team to
operate optimally and in alignment with one another (e.g., weekly
Leadership Team meetings, 1:1s with leadership, etc.)Collaborating
with Leaders in Technology, Commercial and Sales organization to
provide transparency on progress for key GCISD initiatives and
foster partnership, alignment, and collaboration between the
groupsEnsuring measurement and effectiveness of all internal and
external initiatives led by GCISD; providing timely, accurate, and
complete reports on the operating condition of the
organizationPreparing dashboards and other management reporting
statements, summarizing current and projected financial and OKR
progress across key initiatives; designing and implementing
periodic retrospectives and OKR progress reporting processes,
enabling GCISD and Elsevier Clinical Solutions leadership to set
the future vision and direction for the teamBuilding and completing
change plans as needed for the GCISD organization; collaborating
with GCISD leadership to develop and implement plans for the
changes to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the
organizationFostering a success-oriented, accountable environment
within GCISDEnabling the growth and evolution of the GCISD
leadership team by supporting the onboarding of new leadersDrafting
internal executive communications on behalf of the SVP of GCISD and
the leadership team as neededFacilitating and managing the agenda
for GCISD all hands and leadership team meetingsPartnering with
people managers across GCISD to support them in driving high
employee engagement and eNPSSupporting and/or leading additional
