Our industry is highly regulated and requires a strict systems' training approach to ensure all aspects of the training process meet Sky Caf-- airline and catering partners.Core Competencies Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS)Provides input and insight to the operations team regarding training innovations that will enhance training objectivesEvaluates effectiveness of learning principles such as participation, repetition, relevance, transference and feedbackDevelops effective training programs that include the following elements: Customer requirementscost-effectivenesscontains desired program contentconsidered appropriate for all facilitiesappropriate for trainee and trainer capabilitiesaligns with overall GAT and Sky Cafe training objectives meets or exceeds all regulatory and HAACP requirements Maximizes the effectiveness of the training initiatives launched in the business by staying up-to-date with current training practices, training methods, learning tools, and learning deployment devices and technologiesDemonstrates exceptional technical skills and be highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPointPossesses exceptional communication and presentation skills both in written and in verbal form.Demonstrates a commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Job Duties Oversees the development initiatives, ensuring smooth and efficient execution to keep the workforce at peak performanceFacilitates the training needs of on-going training programs on a continuous basisResponsible to develop and deliver content, prepare resource material and management for the training curriculums at all levels of organizationConducts the tracking and reporting of progress for all on-going training programsEvaluates programs to ensure consistency in the quality of training programs, initiatives, and materials launchedSeek out and use all available resources including, but not limited to, Business Process Experts, Client Training Resources and Subject Matter ExpertsCreates, designs, and continuously improves training content, for example, outlines and presentations, agendas, associated materials, and artifacts etcWorks closely with various areas of the business and management in developing training activities unique to the organizations needs and align business needs to the needs of the client and various team membersEstablishes metrics that measure the performance and success of ongoing training programsRecommend actions and best practices to remedy problems, overcome challenges and identify gapsManages the utilization of the USA training budgetDeliver training coursesPeriodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they remain currentStay abreast of new trends and tools for employee developmentConduct or arrange for ongoing technical training classes or programs for staff membersOther duties as required and mutually agreed upon RequirementsRequirements Bachelor's degree with specialization in training, performance instruction, adult education or equivalent experienceExperience with airline catering preferredAbility to present and articulate training programs and processes confidently to varying audiencesSignificant experience designing, writing and creating technical based training curriculum/materialsFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (talentlms and cornerstone preferred).Strong change management skills and demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisionsAbility to adapt positively to a changing environment and shifting priorities and ability to influence others to take actions and achieve objectivesStrong team player with self-discipline and motivation to work independentlyStrong project management, facilitation and organizational skills and must be able to manage multiple concurrent projectsPolished communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleaguesInterpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships
